"Stiles" Stilinski is the son of Beacon County Sheriff Noah Stilinski and the best friend, fiance, and mate of Beacon Hills' resident True Alpha, Scott McCall. He is the second-in-command of the fabled McCall Pack and a Deputy in the Beacon County Sheriff's Department. He currently lives in a humble apartment in Beacon Hills with his fiance.

Post-Canon Divergence
Stiles' default verse splits from Teen Wolf official Canon midway through Season Six. Major story beats between then and the time of the movie are as listed below.
S6 proceeds as canon except that it is Scott and not lydia who does the lion's share of remembering stiles and pulling him back into reality.
between the events of S6A and s6b, scott and stiles sort themselves out and start dating.
stiles leaves for gw and the fbi internship as canon. the events of s6b play out as canon, except it is stiles and not malia who kisses scott's eyes back.
in the wake of s6b, stiles drops out of george washington university and the fbi internship. he begins academy to become a sheriff's deputy instead.
scott goes to uc davis. stiles makes the drive down to visit him almost every time he has a few days off. roscoe continues to hang on by a thread.
scott graduates from uc davis with his dvm. he and stiles drive down to los angeles for a week to celebrate. on their return they begin to live together in an apartment in derek's apartment building. scott becomes a partner at deaton's practice. stiles won't stop calling him dr. mccall in a very serious tone for months.
various supernatural related shenanigans come and go, but scott and stiles are there to handle it. packmates also come and go but they always seem drawn back to beacon hills and scott and stiles remain regardless.
when chris and scott begin having visions of allison, stiles also experiences them due to being one of the three sacrificed to the nemeton in 3a. he is part of the ritual that brings her back.
stiles sidelines himself for a great deal of the actual dealing with the Nogitsune again because he feels especially vulnerable to it for obvious reasons. there's a lot of wearing that soft green henley.
he's a bit awkward about the fact that allison is back, just in general. he feels responsible for her death and now here he is in a committed relationship with her ex. the awkwardness is probably at least 90% in his head, though.
he is also astonished to learn that Derek has a son he's been hiding somewhere. he keeps demanding to know how that happened and derek keeps not telling him. he does get derek to help him rennovate his jeep so that it's more modernized and up to shape. he refuses to entertain suggestions that he should just buy a new jeep regardless of how close to becoming the jeep of theseus it is.
does not let Eli drive the jeep unless he's intoxicated or otherwise not sober, or it's an actual emergency. even then he complains about it extensively.
otherwise stiles is very happy to be the weird grumpy uncle to eli and also use eli to (gently, affectionately) troll derek.
he is capable of doing this because derek is not dead, he never died, who told you that gross lie? derek's fine.

Stiles Stilinski's troubled childhood culminated in him running away from his home in Beacon Hills the moment he turned 18. Arriving in Los Angeles with little more than his battered old Jeep and his equally-battered drum kit, Stiles spent far too long living hand-to-mouth in the back of his car and developing a crippling distaste for humanity at large. It wouldn't be until the day that Stiles auditioned for the spot of the drummer in the up-and-coming punk rock band Once Bitten that he would meet the sunshine match to all of his storm clouds, and slowly lead singer Scott McCall would change Stiles' life forever.

When the Nemeton begins to form a magical bond between Stiles and his best friend Scott McCall, they are forced to take extreme measures to direct and control the magic. Stiles doesn't hesitate to begin his training as a Druid, and neither is he afraid of what must be done to control this power and protect the town, but as the day of the Bonding Ritual grows near, Stiles begins to worry that Scott's fear of the Ritual itself may tear them apart forever. Stiles is determined not to let that come to pass.
